Underpinning the network’s resilience and performance statistics is Trident’s dual NOC strategy. It ensures the cable NOC is both geographically and culturally close to the on-call repair crews in each geographic zone, so that any repairs are completed rapidly.

Trident’s NOC setup consists of an Asia-based operations centre responsible for monitoring and operating the cable infrastructure, including local vessel monitoring and environmental management, and a United States-based NOC responsible for the monitoring and management of the optical equipment and associated services.

The two NOC systems are each duplicated across multiple sites to ensure continuous management coverage during an IT outage or disaster.
